Solving global climate change can help ensure America’s security
Fighting global warming is one way to ensure the security of our nation — if left unchecked, global warming could lead to civil strife, economic stress, conflicts over water and other resources, mass migration, and increased terrorism.
The Pew Project on National Security, Energy and Climate is dedicated to highlighting the climate-security nexus in order to advance discussions and solutions that will make the United States safer, more prosperous, and secure.
